For my birthday this year we went to Montauk,NY. It’s my first time there and I was excited to photograph the Montauk Light house. We stayed at Montauk Yacht Club which was right on the beach and marina. Montauk Light House was about 20 minutes away which was perfect for sunrise shoot. The time was also perfect because it was not warm enough for the beach crowd but cool enough to be out all day shooting. Here are a collection of photos I took. Thanks and let me know what you think and as usual let me know if you have any questions.
Nice, brought back lovely memories of our visit to the lighthouse several years ago. Lucky you not to encounter winds and rains, although the elements do tame crowds ;).
These are stunning pics Gerry!!!! Keep it up and thank you! Hugs, Catherine
Hi, Gerry, I linked to these through a Nikon group on linked in – the one for critiques. Not sure if this is where the critique is supposed to go, but since I liked the photos, it is as good a place as any 🙂 I especially liked the misty atmosphere over the rocks. My guess is that you did this intentionally, with a longish exposure – otherwise we would see crashing waves and water droplets. It is a nice effect, very ethereal and “other-worldly”…takes the photos beyond another land and sea picture…nice job! Deborah
